To Serve:
Serve 1 cup soup for 1 โ€“ 3 year toddlers
Serve 2 cups for 4+ kids ..

You can serve in the evening or for lunch/dinner when your baby is sick and refuses to eat solid foods

RECIPE #1 – SUPERFOOD VEGGIE SOUP

Ingredients: ( for #1 โ€“ Superfood veggie soup )
1/2 cup โ€“ carrot (peeled & chopped )
1/4 cup โ€“ beetroot (peeled & chopped)
1/4 cup โ€“ potato (peeled & chopped )
1/4 cup โ€“ bellpepper (capsicum) chopped
1/2 cup โ€“ spinach (or kale/silverbeet/chard) chopped
2 cups โ€“ water
1/4 tsp โ€“ salt ( or to taste )
Spice powders:
1/4 tsp โ€“ turmeric powder
pinch โ€“ chilli powder or pepper
1/2 tsp โ€“ coriander powder

RECIPE #2 โ€“ MUSHROOM SOUP

Ingredients: ( for #2 โ€“ Mushroom soup )
1/2 cup โ€“ pumpkin or carrot (peeled & chopped )
1/2 cup โ€“ green peas
1 โ€“ tomato (chopped)
1 cup โ€“ mushroom (chopped) ( I used โ€˜button mushroomโ€™ )
1 tbsp โ€“ coriander leaves (chopped)
2 cups โ€“ water
1/4 tsp โ€“ salt ( or to taste )
pinch โ€“ garlic ( small piece or 1 small garlic)
2 tsp โ€“ oil
Spice powders:
1/4 tsp โ€“ turmeric powder
1/4 tsp โ€“ pepper powder
1/2 tsp โ€“ coriander powder
1/4 tsp โ€“ cumin powder

RECIPE #3 โ€“ CHICKEN SOUP

Ingredients: ( for #3 โ€“ Chicken soup )
1/2 cup โ€“ carrot or pumpkin (peeled & chopped )
1/2 cup โ€“ green peas
1/2 cup โ€“ bellpepper (capsicum) chopped
1/2 โ€“ onion (chopped)
100 gms โ€“ chicken ( boneless ) chopped
1 tbsp โ€“ coriander leaves (chopped)
2 cups โ€“ water
1/4 tsp โ€“ salt ( or to taste )
1/4 tsp โ€“ lemon juice
1/4 tsp โ€“ ginger chopped ( 1 small piece )
2 tbsp โ€“ chana dal ( or yellow lentil or soup lentil )
2 tsp โ€“ oil
Spice powders:
1/4 tsp โ€“ turmeric powder,ย ย ย  1/4 tsp โ€“ pepper powder
1/2 tsp โ€“ coriander powder,ย  1/4 tsp โ€“ cumin powder

RECIPE #4 โ€“ SPINACH SOUP

Ingredients: ( for #4 โ€“ Spinach soup )
1/2 cup โ€“ sweet potato or carrot (peeled & chopped )
1 cup โ€“ spinach (palak) chopped
1 cup โ€“ water
2 tbsp โ€“ red lentil ( masoor dal )
1/4 tsp โ€“ salt ( or to taste )
pinch โ€“ garlic ( tiny piece )
Spice powders:
1/4 tsp โ€“ turmeric powder
pinch โ€“ pepper powder
1/4 tsp โ€“ cumin powder

RECIPE #5 โ€“ BEETROOT SOUP

Ingredients: ( for #5 โ€“ Beetroot soup )
1/2 cup โ€“ beetroot (peeled & chopped )
1/2 cup โ€“ celery chopped (optional)
1/2 cup โ€“ pumpkin ( squash or carrot )
1/4 cup โ€“ peas
1 cup โ€“ water
1/4 tsp โ€“ salt ( or to taste )
2 tsp โ€“ coriander leaves ( or chives )
